SPF and cold water were must haves for the 18 mile journey through Queens earlier this month. Approximately 1,500 enthusiastic cyclists arrived at Flushing Meadow Park’s Unisphere, ready to roll along the hot streets of Flushing, Whitestone, and Bayside to name a few neighborhoods on the route. New York’s Finest did an amazing job, as did Transportation Alternative Volunteers, of keeping us safe!
